This beauty and her sister were found emaciated, malnourished, and afraid. After a 5 mile pursuit, a good samaritan was able to rescue them, and found that they smelled of ammonia. What was initially believed to be a large scratch, the vet revealed Gianni suffered from a chemical burn. She has since been treated and is undergoing rehab at our rescue facility, where she is learning basic obedience, crate training and socialization with caring people. She is a joy to have and pleasure to be around.
